Wow, there are so many writing services on line..I guess that is one thing WE SHOULD NEVER CONSIDER TO DO because it is consider as an academic dishonesty.
I realized finding information is not a problem. The challenging part of on line reseach is finding a legitimate source; therefore, as students we should be more conscious on the origin of the source rather then information. If the source is questionable then think twice of using its content.

After many trials and errors, I found this website which have many useful tips on writing research essay. Some of advices are already mention by Pro. Derek in class but I thought it wont hurt to refresh our memory.

Enjoy and hope it helps.

P.S Is my writing improving? I am starting to enjoy writing.
I am always looking for constructive critism... but be nice!!!

Sir, either i am improving or not Smile I was looking for more constrictive critisims. Exclamation
I know I have many grammertical errors but I still try because without any efforts there is no improvement.
The article " How to write less badly" you posted in forums, there was one line which caught my attention: " If you have trouble writing, then you just havent written enough"
The writer is right. In order to improve writing skill, you must write and write often.

So, do you see any improvement? Very Happy

P.S Oh thanks for posting interesting articles from The Chronicle. I enjoy reading them...Now, i see where you get your sources from.

You wrote: Sir, either i am improving or not

Maybe your reading needs some work, as I wrote:

I wrote: I think it's improving.

You wrote: I was looking for more constrictive critisims

Constrictive on the Free Dictionary
Constructive on the Free Dictionary

Is that the kind of criticisms you were looking for?

I don't think of the forum as being a place for this kind of work. I prefer that it is used for student to student communication and that students use it to improve their writing and revision by practicing. Comm1007 after all is not a grammertical grammar class, it is a class on writing and reading and critical thinking.

For close mechanical work you can see me in office hours or - far better - use the TLC.

Practice is absolutely the best way to improve, and YOU ARE IMPROVING.

Okay.
