Martin Luther King Jr. did so much to make the lives of coloured people better and for the civil rights movement. In 1961, Martin Luther King Jr. led the peaceful march in Albany, Georgia. In 1954, he took a job as a Minister in the Southern Christian Leadership Conference (SCLC). In 1963, he led the protest against segregation in Birmingham, Alabama. Then in 1965, Martin organized the voting rights protests in Selma, Alabama.
